100 Reasons to Love Where I Live (And Counting)

This is going to be an ongoing project of mine, as I find a new reason almost every day. I'm a bit of a small town girl, though I don't know if I really qualify, as I live in the sprawl of towns and cities that encompasses most of the West Coast. I'll try to keep it as up-to-date as possible.

Basically, I believe that regardless of how far you travel, you still have a place you call home, and there's a reason you live there. Maybe it's work, your family, or simply because you love the area. Whichever is the case, home is home, and it's called travel for a reason.

So, I'm creating a photo journal of all the reasons I love where I live. There are countless ones, from the spectacular view I have of Mt. Rainier to the little flowers that crop up in unexpected places. I doubt I'll ever find them all, but it's a good place to start.

Additionally, I believe it is important to learn about the place we call home, so I'll be providing a little bit of research on my reasons. Some may have more or less, depending on my time; all I can promise is that I will do my best.

Live brings us to unexpected places; love brings us home.
